In 2018 Sarah Settgast started the development of her own eyewear collection, together with Hoffmann Natural Eyewear. In more than 300 single steps, and in collaboration with leading gold- and silversmiths, Sarah Settgast‘s frame designs were fashioned by handcrafting experts by Hoffmann Natural Eyewear using selected materials.
Vintage style
The vintage style of the 1920s is re-discovered in the extravagant eyewear collection “SARAH SETTGAST by Hoffmann Natural Eyewear“. The series encompasses 12 stunning optical frames and sunglass creations, handmade from the finest natural horn and combined with mother-of-pearl inlays and decorative elements formed from sterling silver with genuine white or yellow gold. Created by hand in a multide of meticulous stages and inspired by Flappers, Art Nouveau and Art Déco, Sarah Settgast‘s first own eyewear collection is everything you could wish for – and always exceptional.
Born in Kyritz an der Knatter, Sarah Settgast grew up in this idyllic small town in Brandenburg, Germany. The province quickly became too limiting for her, however, and so she took her art and her talent and looked for a new place which offered fresh opportunities. She found this in the exciting city of Berlin. Driven by her search for new ideas and her love of handcrafted products, she quickly started a new career and was employed as a designer. Thus she spent ten years creating eyewear models.
